    Hey guys,
Recently I bought a Acer 5520 Notebook and decided that vista wasn't for me. So, I decided to install Xp Pro x64. Now, I have almost found all my drivers but I'm having problems finding two. Does anyone know if there is and where I can find a driver for the touchpad and the crystal eye webcam for XP 64-bit?

but here's what i dont get, why is it that when i open up the synaptics program, it shows my device as a mouse instead of a touchpad and therefore I can't change the settings specific to a touchpad like sensitivity and stuff?

I just googled around and it seems that for some notebooks the Synaptic doesn't work. The driver does but not the software. Try Compaq ALPS XP 64 driver&software, it may work. Acer provide ALPS only for Vista.

P.S. I'll try the ALPS for myself tomorrow and let you know if you didn't try it out.

now theres just one more problem that i dont understand. When I install the crystal eye webcam, it installs fine but the webcam still doesnt work. When it says a bubble should pop up in the system tray and say driver installed or w/e, it doesnt happen. What should I do?
