I have a TravelMate 2480 -- all of a sudden the setting on my touchpad has become ultra sensitive and I can't find, online or offline, anywhere to adjust it. I would also like to adjust the sensitivity of my keyboard. When I type, I need to really hammer the keys and I want to make it easier to type -- again I can find nowhere in online or offline help to do this. Please help?? Thanks!

You can adjust sensitivity in Control Panel --> Mouse

do you have the synaptics icon in system tray ?
if yes right click the icon, pointer device properties.device settings tab.
    next settings button,
you should now see a tree in the left hand pan with sensitivity at the bottem.
    from here its easy.

hope that helps any trouble just let us know where your stuck ;)

I had to reload the Synaptics driver and then I was able to adjust the touch pad. But how can I adjust the keyboard sensitivity? I did it once but I can't find it again.

its in Accessibility options. you have to play around a bit.
ive just had a quick play and have made my keyboard more responsive.
i opened setting for fillterKeys and checked the "Ignore quick keystrockes blah blah". the i opened the settings button which opened the advanced settings for filterkeys settings. i checked the no keyboard repeat and set the slowkeys to 0.0 seconds.
    hope that helps

EDIT: god that's made the keyboard loads faster ;)
