    several cracks in my lcd

    i have bought an acer several months ago and it suddenly appered this cracks on both sides of the lcd

    i dont know does that happend as i never put anything heavy on it,or grabbed the laptop by the lcd or any of those thing that can harm the laptop,anybody have any idea of how does this happend.I hope the warranty can cover this.

    The only thing I can think of is that when you put it in your laptop bag, it was bumped and cracked like that.

    I'd call Acer and have that replaced right away....there isn't anything else you can do on your own, except for some duct tape :p

    I have the same problem with you on my Aspire 3003Lci, and I found out yesterday. I'm gonna try to ask Acer for a replacement or something else.

    I had identical crack. Got it fixed by Acer under warrenty. Since then I examine it for cracks every week. It looks like it is the design flaw.
