    Hello there. new here,
I have recently replaced my hard drive with a 500gb, as my last one was shot, 80gb, it had vista on it, I have also upgraded ram, to 2gb from 512mb, also installed windows 7,on new drive . all is working fine, even my sound is ok on the laptop, but I use a sound recorder software, and the playback is not right , I have tried 2 different audio streamers that I have used in the past, and been ok on xp & vista , it doesn't seem to matter how I configure the software settings I am still not getting quality recordings, my sound chip is a ( realtek high def audio driver ) ver 6.0.1.6873 and my driver date says 3/29/2013. I have tried to upgrade driver but says is latest available, has anyone else had this problem , I would appreciate any help if possible.

    thanks H----------------
