    Hello Acer notebook fans,
Is it possible to increase the sound level on my new travelmate 3270 to a reasonably audible level. Currently The sound from a DVD is very low despite pushing the setting to 100%. A visit to the retailer produced two USB speakers and the fact notebooks only give low level sound.
Online advice from Acer directed me to their drivers and online information files, some of 384Mbytes.
Is there a reasonable way to increase the settings in the operating system without messing up the system.
    Colin
