i just installed windows 7 ultimate x64 on my aspire 7520g but the drivers on acres homepage for win7 is not very good .. my sound is like in a box and very low not to mention that it has no bass what so ever .. even tho i have "subwoofer" in the laptop .. the sound worked fine in vista when i had that installed but now the sound is not working like it should, a hole lot of diskant and no bass also there is not any software with the drivers for the sound, at least i cant get it to install any, there was software for vista anyone can point me to some drivers that actually works ok in win7 for my sound ? i even payied some company 10 dollars to find some drivers for me but they just came up with the same ones that i already have installed pls help someone ..

Go to realtek's website and download the newest drivers. http://www.realtek.com/downloads/ You need the high-definition ones. If realtek's web-site is too slow, you can get them from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ too.

i already did that ofc .. and its the same problem .. and i saw in another post that someone mentioned that the nvidiadrivers for motherboard had to be uninstalled first and then reinstalled with the onboard sound unticked and i did that tho there wasent any sounddrivers to install on the chipset drivers and then i installed the newest drivers from realtech .. like i did it 5 times now .. and it's still the same problem .. boxy sound with alot of diskant and no bass what so ever .. so i guess there just aint any drivers for win7 that works for my laptop .. could be nice if anyone could post that there drivers actually works for there aspire 7520g .. thx for the answer tho
