    But I have some questions. does the unit ship with a window install cd? I will need to switch it to NTFS, and unpartion the hard drive. How is the battery life. Do you think this notebook will work good for international travel, from jungles to desserts.

    You don't need to have the window cd to switch to ntfs. Do a find in windows help for converting to ntfs and it will walk you thru.

    You can delete the logical partition thru disk management.
