    for 3201 owners, did you guys consider the vaio s before purchase? just curious...

    i like the s form factor better but not the price...

    ibm t42 is best... magnesium casing...but again the price...

    are there any other smaller nb with at least radeon9600 and above vid card?

    i liked discountlaptops.com's ODM build to order idea, but they don't have 14in odm models with good vid card.

    I considered the Vaio S, but I had a few problems with it. Video card, no bluetooth standard (yes you can customize it), are the ones that come to mind. The price was way too high if I wanted these things, which I did.

    I found that the 3201XCi was the best thing for me as far as fairly portable (but not 12") notebooks go. The only others I looked at were the S series with serious customization and upgrade, and the 12" PowerBook. But I have no regrets whatsoever. I saw the Vaio S's again last week at CompUSA, and didn't like them as much as my Acer.
