    Hello and Welcome here.

You probably need to download and install the drivers.

EDIT: You can search google for touchpad drivers, seems there are some threads on our forum about it...

...Or simply enable it by pressing "Fn+F7" if you haven`t done it already...

Isn't this key available only after having installed some additional software like Launch Manager?

Normally, I would expect that the touchpad works with Windows generic mouse drivers. But if Launch Manager has been already installed, then you may be right and the touchpad is simply disabled.

I'd also suggest to have a look into Device Manager in order to see if the touchpad is listed in the "pointing devices" section.

    @ michael_recycled
If you are using Windows 7, using Fn keys is enabled by default with no additional software needed (Such as launch manager)... But software is needed if you want to use or reprogram dedicated keys for Internet explorer, email etc.
WLAN switch will work by default...

    Hi,
Thanks, I didn't know that. The Fn keys worked out of the box when I tried an Ubuntu live system but I didn't expect Windows 7 to behave the same :)

I don't have these special keys, and Launch Manager doesn't allow me to define some on my laptop.
