    Hiiii

    Could anyone help me with a display problem I am facing in an ACER Travelmate 4003LCi.

    Trailing lines of red, yellow and blue are appearing vertically on the screen. Thinking that some virus had invaded the laptop, i formatted it a while ago but still this did not solve the problem :eek:

    So i am thinking that it is some hardware problem.. So would be grateful if any of u guys could help me by pinpointing out what the problem might be :D

    I am having the same problem with my Acer Aspire 3000. Have now and then the screen will lock up and vertical lines appear (wite,red,blue yellow and green) of varying width. I have run AVG Free Edition, Ad-ware, Spybot, and MS Antispyware. If anyone could recommend a fix please post ASAP.

    it seems all the acer laptops are going to have problems with the lcd.my lcd as well as the lcd of three other guys in this forum first had this problem then came a vertical coluumn in the lcd.u cant stop it.its a malfunction occuring more and more in acer lcds.its not ur fault also.u would be happy if just gurantee accepts it.
