    hi,

I had a HDD crash without any warning, i have replaced the HDD with a new 80 GB seagate, however the HDD is not getting detected in the Bios.
The old HDD dad had to be recovered professionally at a lab.

No matter what i do, the new HDD is not getting detected.

I booted the laptop with Linux live CD (SLAX) and things are working perfectly, exccept that as expected, it does not detect the HDD.

    Any suggestions
