Im looking at a older model acer travelmate 2000 laptop.
    This is what it has
    -1024mb memory stick
    -PCM/CIA wireless card,month old.
Wireless is 802.11n-capable of up to 300mbps-compatible with an 802.11b & g source.
    -Power DVD loaded,

Im not looking to pay and arm & leg for a new laptop as I have a desktop that I use as well. I just wanted something convient for when I dont feel like sitting in a basement during nice days during the summer (days or nights).

Does anyone know how good this laptop is and if it will run games? I want to mainly play gta multiplayer and I know that laptops are better nowadays for gaming but they are also more expensive. I know desktops are the way to go as for gaming. But I do know some people that are running games on their laptops with no probs.
I dont want to pay an outrageous price for a new marketed one, especially when I dont play much. I just want to know if this one IS capable for running games? I imagine being its and older laptop its a 16 milisecond response time rating. Which always has ghosting effects. Im not looking for "the best" as I would just want it for more convience and to mess around with when Im bored on summer days or nights.
Anyone have experience with loading games on this acer travelmate 2000?
