    Hello,
Last week i installed vista in my aspire 5672 for the first time.
Two things happened after this installation
    1) although i downloaded drivers from acer site there is still a device that is referred *** unknown in my device manager
    in details tab > hardware's id is ACPI\SMCB000 *SMCB000 -
what is this device? Is there any other way to discover information about it?

    2) after the installation i have to point out a rapid decrease in my battery's life. I mean - ok it is an old battery, but still it could hold my notebook for about a hour 3 days ago under XP. Could it be this missing driver that causes this problem or just vista spend too much energy?

Thanks for taking time to review my post.

    Best regards,

    A.
