    i wanna up the ram in my acer aspire 5551-2013 but not sure how to get the panel off without scratching or messing up the plastic,i tried looking for how to's but nothing came up im guessing the laptop is still new so there isn't much on it yet as far as how to's so any help would be appreciated

    there should be a panel on the underside held on by screws

    yea i took the screws out but i couldnt get the panel off ,i didnt wanna ruin the panel tryin to get it off

    Gently take out the lid and insert your new RAM at an angle,push down gently until it clicks.

    EDIT: there must be small gap in the lid where you can insert your finger nail and pull out.

    yeah as said there should be a little recess, it is a little stiff to get out but you wont mark it, had mine off lots of times without any damage
