    Hi everyone.
I just got my new TM4402 and there are some things that I want to ask other users.

First of all, I reinstalled the SP1 version of the Xp beacause i really don't care much about SP2.
Now the problem is that I can't get the wireless to work!
I tried installing all the drivers in the Acer website but I haven't had any luck with it.
The wireless itself isn't defective because when i recovered the system back to it's factory settings everything worked like a charm. So I must be missing something here hmmm..i wonder what

I'd also like to ask what is the current best driver for the mobility x700? with the stock driver installed, the images look pretty bad as if the color setting is set to 8-bit

    Hey LHappydude,

Why do you prefer SP1 to SP2? SP2 supports Data Execution Prevention on the Turion 64 to protect against buffer overflow attacks. By going back to SP1, you won't be taking advantage of this hardware protection...

For the wireless, I think there are two different drivers on the Acer site. One is for Foxconn, the other is for Broadcom. Which driver did you install?

Can you change the color quality in the Display settings to 16-bit or 32-bit? I'm using the standard ATI driver provided by Acer. I know it's not the best for gaming, but it works fine for my needs.
