Can someone give me a rundown of watching movies (~700mb divx) on the 3810tz?

I think I have read posts here and there about people having problems due to the weak cpu/gpu and using certain drivers or players or some combination thereof to resolve them. But im not sure if the problems exist when youare watching videos as low quality as your typical divx or just when trying to watch full dvd rips or HD quality movies...

I am going on a trip in a couple days and I dont have much time to do a lot of testing on my laptop so I am hoping some tips for you guys will allow me to actually watch the movies I have while I am travelling as opposed to smashing my new laptop in anger when nothing is watchable :)

I will also mention that my3810 is running windows 7, and I would be curious to know if there is another file format (other than divx avi) that plays better with this cpu/gpu. I have a program on my mac (where all the movies are at the moment) that can pretty easily convert them into mp4s or something if there is reason to think doing so would help.

    Thanks!
