This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     weird problem : volume shortcut keys not working.

    there were no symptoms before/after this happened :

    the Fn+Up/Down shortcut that adjusts volume does not work, same goes for Fn+F8 which mutes volume - doesn't do anything.

    however all the other shortcuts are stil functioning as per normal : e.g. adjust brightness, numlk, slp using Fn key.

    using Acer 4820T here.

    any idea what's wrong? :eek:

    I would uninstall launch manager then reinstall from your apps disk.
