    Hi
I was reading through the review of the Acer 8100 and saw it had a DVD+/-RW double layer optical drive (Panasonic UJ-831S), does this mean the drive has two layers? (excuss me if this sounds silly) so could you put two cds in and copy one to the other?

    Thanks, Cameron

It means you can burn to two different layers on the disc greatly increasing the storage capacity. It has to be a dual layer disc though.
