    does anybody know where i can download a free restore disk for my acer aspire 5315? it crashed recently and took all the contents of my hard drive with it in the process, and it never came with a backup disk.

    I remember reading from somewhere else where you can contact Acer & they will ask you for your Windows Vista Seriel Key that came with the laptop (its underneath the laptop where the laptop's seriel number is) & they will make a restore disk for you & send it out to you but there is a £35 fee.

    Thats cheap. they quoted £48 for a 5735 vista restore disc
