Owners of the Acer Timeline, especially the 3810T-6775 or -6415:

What model wireless card is in your Acer Timeline 3810T-6775 ?

I am interested in using WiMAX service from Clear in the USA.

The Acer USA web site states that the Intel 5150 which supports WiMAX is an option for the Timelines. But I have yet to find a Timeline configuration on the Acer site that identifies the model number of the wireless card in that configuration.

I telphoned the Acer America corporate office as well as Acer toll-free customer support to ask this question. No one I spoke to could answer the question "What Timeline configurations include an Intel 5150 wimax card?" Very disappointing.

Sigh, and I wish the 3810TG would be sold in the USA.

I don't believe there are any configurations in North America that currently have the 5150 in it. It might only be in other parts of the world such as UK or Asia...
