Where can i find a review of TM 4674??

Except for the specs, i would have the say that the build quality is different. Usually the TravelMates are built more solid. Might be wrong though. Oh, and they look different and have different multimedia/connectivity options!!! TravelMates have more gadgets i believe.

The Acer5672 at buy.com was my choice after well over 20hrs of research online... http://www.buy.coml $1044 (w/$15 off coupon)
I chose 7-9 day free shipping, it arrived in 2 days. 15.4" screen was wide, bright & clearly visible from all angles. Intel Duo Core T2300 (1.666Ghz) & 1Gb RAM (2x512Mb @ 533Mhz), 100Gb 5400rpm hard drive... 802.11 a/b/g, blue tooth, USB 2.0, firewire, DVI output, DVD dual layer +RW, ATI x1400 128Mb GPU and touchpad with programmable 4-button scroll-pad & 4 programmable hotspots. The built in webcam is also a handy feature.
After spending ridiculous hours and late nights of shopping & research, I'm quite confident that's the best deal I could find for under $1300 (my budget). I plan to upgrade the drive to a 7200rpm & the RAM to 2Gb 666Mhz.
I primarily use it for Battlefield 2, Guild Wars, photoshop, watching videos, listening to mp3's and internet of course. -
What do you think of it?
Have you has any heating issues?? -
Your criteria #6 says 'no heating issues'. AFAIK, the 5672 has heating issues. The 5652 is better if it is available in your area.

but yes, there are significant differences. this could be helpful too:

Something like the Asus Z70va is a much better machine and in the same range though it has the Pentium M.
