Acer mini desktop L100 with vista 32bit Ultimate, using nVidia 6150LE, 2X 200pin laptop PC5300 1GB RAM. when installed 1.5G RAM, vista could recognize 1460 MB RAM(display setting shows nVidia uses 459 MB shared memory); but with 2GB RAM installed, vista shows only 1535MB RAM installed(display setting shows nVidia uses 479 MB shared memory)(although vista can't show 2GB RAM, memtest-86 does show 1948MB RAM, and cpu-z shows 2048MB RAM). anybody knows where the lost 512MB goes? how to let vista shows 2GB RAM?

why with 1.5G RAM installed, GPU uses almost same amount of shared memory vs 2GB RAM installed, vista could show 1460MB RAM?

my vostro's X3100 also uses shared memory, but vista does show 2038MB RAM, why nvidia 6150LE has problem with 2GB but has no problem with 1.5GB RAM?

after installed vista 64bit, vista could show 2GB RAM. this indicates that the problem is due to vista 32bit version bug.
