My 4810tz has a Intel 5100 pro wifi card. It is okay but I understand from the forums the Intel 4965 is a better choice for n mode and also will get better reception. I have found one on ebay (with antennas) for 18.95 but they are asking me if it is a full or half height that I require. Can someone tell me which one I need? Also is there an alternative card with the atheros chipset that would do the same job. Using Windows xp pro.

The Intel that you have is a full height card so you can replace it with a full or a half height card. The half height card you will have to hold it in there with some invention on your own(it's not hard). The full height you will insert by unscrewing only one screw...Why don't you open the bay in the back to see by yourself???Personal opinion:The mod is not worth it.The Intel5100 is just fine.
