    wireless TravelMate 2480 - how can I make work?

    After I reinstalled the OS (XP SP-2), my notebook's wireless thing just not work. Don't know why... I'm not an expert. I guess this needs an update... just like the spidif did.

    i have already downloaded all the drivers and installed them... even thou that does not work...

    Yes make sure you install chipset driver along with wifi drivers

    go to device manger what show up does wireless card show up as working?

    have you installed the lunch manager.
    wifi switch will not work without it. :D
    if you have the download manager installed.
    are you using windows or wifi card software to run your connection ?
