    I wouldn't get either there are better more powerful model around if you would take a better look.
    The Acer issue is the AMD TF-20 Processor and Xpress Graphics.
    TF-20 is slightly underpower while Xpress Graphics is end of life components.
    At least get something with Radeon HD in them even Intel Integrated X4500 is better.
    The HP issue is Celeron you can buy it but you will want to buy another Processor and do a upgrade yourself.
    Trust me there are better sub 500 models around just look around more.

    The HP was the only bottomline sub $500 with anti-glare matte, webcam, HDMI & since she was not sure if she liked glossy screens I told her this was about the least expensive 15.6" around. I'll look around some more as Acer, Dell, HP likely have other sub $500s but will likely all have glossy. If anyone has suggestions, let me know, -Thanks
