I saw a couple posts a few pages back about Fallout New Vegas. I have it maxed and I'm getting about 40-50 fps on average, 40 is the lowest I've ever seen it go

After some OC and other tweaking Im able to play metro 2033 high with physix high with steady 40-50 fps. Its awesome when you think how crap the GPU really is, still dont get why they could at least trow in DDR5 ram in there.

Okay Red Faction: armageddon, on high with dx 10/11 enabled runs smooth and looks amazing. I am digging it and it kept steady despite huge explosions and enemies all around me.

Running Alice: Madness Returns on high settings, with aa, no overclocking at 32 fps average. The game is smooth and pretty good looking. Duke Nukem Forever I will check out later today.

Did anybody tried Dawn of war II?

I don't understand why in the ingame performance test I get sometimes 17fps and sometimes 9fps as minimum.

Average I think is around 40fps.

    Is this normal?

On what settings? That doesnt sound right at all! I am still waiting for my m14x but I often play it on my MBP17 2011 at all high 1920x1200 and get between 30-50fps with the odd dip in orbital strikes.

Can you run the benchmark and let us know what you get?

    I7 2630
    1366x768
    1.5 GT555
    4GB Ram

Sure thing, I'll run the benchmark as soon as I'll be at home after work.

ok and please list the settings you are running it at.
at 1366 with no OC and high settings I would expect over 20-40-90fps if the 555m performs as per my expectations (ie similar to my 6750)

It will be done. I forgot to mention that I have stock GPU drivers (267.something), I'll try with the stock drivers and after the update. ;)
