The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    No worries....i have spoken to a few members who DO have this issue, and although its pertinent to 10.12, its also pertinent to earlier reference drivers too ....although majority of users may report no issues, there are a few that do still have problems.
    It was purely a thread to help anoyone who does continue to have problems using reference drivers, specifically those issues I mentioned - if it can help, great I guess.....and I appreciate too, the need to keep related threads together....PM me if I need to change 'owt.... :)

    Try rolling back to the 10.11 drivers. I had issues with 10.12 where when my LCD would enter power save the system would stop responding/BSOD.

    When I rolled back to 10.11 the problem went away. From what I can tell, the 10.12 drivers are a borked for some of us.
