    Me too, my EDD said June 21st and it is arriving at the Canoga Park facility today. I imagine out for delivery tomorrow or Friday.

    Lovely it doesn't look like it came with 2nd hdd bracket/interposer or whatever I need for 2nd HDD unless its inside the notebook.. anyone know?

    Normally it's inside hardrive caddy in block of foam 4 screws & interposer.Just open service panel 2 screws give it a quick eyeball

    if it means anything to anyone mine just ran the WEI and
    Processor: 7.4
    Memory: 7.4

    i'll be swapping the ram out for the 8gb 1333 in a bit. not sure if it will make a diff though. Also since installing the SSD i'm assuming i need to install the latest version of the Intel Rapid Storage manager to pass through trim commands....

    windows seven passes the trim command thru but this( imo) is the best controller for ssd.I have mine running in raid and have had no performance loss.

    An OCZ tech rep told me not to use the Intel r.s.m. Here is exactly what he wrote me:

    OCZ Technology does not recommend Intel software.

    I asked why but never got an answer. I don't understand why they would not.

    whats your ocz vertex read speed on the R2 guys? i get around 150 to 130mb/sec (using hdtune 4.01 pro) while i had around 200 on the R1.... i think intel misbehaves the ocz ssds in general.

    OCZ does not recommend the Intel drivers.

    Now it also depends which drive you are using.
