    @ Aristotelhs2060

Well, it was either M17 or the M6500. I thought hmmm... M17 yeah!

BTW ArchiCAD 13 users don't necessarily do much uploading/posting/forum-ing or even MMO gaming. But we do need a fast computer. Was doing some rendering over the weekend, the 5870 got quite hot. But my god, it was fast! :D

Hi Guys, I saw some of you put in your signature that you got an m17x-R2 with 5870 CX. Can you tell me how's that possible bcaz I just ordered an m17x. But there no sign on Dell website show that they let us upgrade GPU from single 5870 to CX 5870.... >.<

Why? They can still eventually upgrade should they choose to. Its not like the option will never be there.

The way I see it is a single 5870 is already really damn fast. Will I get xfire 5870? Yes probably when they're available, but for the time being a single 5870 is already very capable.

My two cents: I'm getting an m17x as a completecare replacement for my old xps m1710, it has the i5 520m and a single 5870 and the order says I'm getting the 240w adapter. So I don't think the adapter you get depends entirely on having either a 920xm or a dual gpu setup.

    Sorry for the necro.

But I ran the vBios posted here through the Radeon Bios Editor (because Asus vbios has borked powerplay), I noticed some differences.

Is the Alienware on high performance really at 1.05v? For Asus it's at 1.15v confirmed in the AMD GPU Tool.

Can someone confirm this? Just curious if having lower or higher voltage be better.

Here is a picture of the two bios in RBE.
