    Hi, CAP 3 has fixed the issues for me.
    With a GPU overclock I get 45-50 fps on extreme settings and at native Res.
    Now, let's wait for the DX 11 patch lol.

    Bought from STEAM

    It's still the same on any brightness level.. :(

    Flickering HUD all the time and ocassional 2-3 seconds black screen especially when riding vehicles.

    Edit : Just noticed that the water is flickering as well. First it was the light , now the water.. What next? 8-|

    Anyway i tried the "Advanced Graphics Options" program , and tinkering with it gave me a result where , nothing would flicker , but the image would go brighter when moving , with a glitchy entity in front of the main character...

    Flickering is gone for me, i modify the cfg file adding this

    r_MultiGPU=1

    sys_MaxFPS = 60

    r_VSync = 1

    ;sys_spec_postprocessing=3

    and now it's ok. I cannot Alt-tab on desktop, doing so bring flickering back as soon as i'm back in the game. But besides this it's ok.

    Just to check, does anyone ever OC their m17x's while playing Crysis 2, or just on normal?

    I have my 5870m's at 800/1000 and the 720 QM CPU at 5% OC and it plays excellent.

    I get excellent performance at extreme settings with my dual 5870's

    Had to mess around with the brightness to get rid of the flickering.

    Just installed Crysis 2 last night and it plays fantastic, was trying it in 3D first and no problems the intro scenes in 3D are encredible, I play everything at 1280/720 as recommended by nvidia and it looks great, the only glitch is the HUD for changing suit config is a bit defunct in 3D, you can see the rotating thingy but not the outter ring which shows the options but as long as you know what they are it's a minor detail, it would help if it gave a verbal announcement which one you selected like the two earlier versions did.

    I'd love to try it out on 3D.. if I could stream it via HD to my 3D tv in 3D.. now that would be something worth checking out! But as wireless hdmi is new, i doubt we'll see wireless 3D hdmi anytime soon

    Just updated to Crysis 2 1.5 patch, CCC 11.4 & 11.4 Cap 1. Now I have HUD flickering!! The gameplay is smooth at max settings now...
    When is this multi-gpu nightmare going to end with Crysis 2(PC)?

    hey,

    i've searched the early and the latest pages of this thread but could not find a good config for the graphics.

    i read "i play on max with 60fps" a lot here but when i set extreme in crysis 2 it's unplayable. so you clearly must have some cool configs that allow high settings but also give decent frame rates.

    I'd appreciate a good config :)

    thank's

    with my config, all stock drivers and clocks crysis 2 is very good playable at max resolution but advanced settings (not extreme). I get 30-60 FPS depending on situation, about 40-50 average

    yeah waterflicker can be resolved by "upping" the water-option :)

    And for the location of the autoexec just go to your installdir should be right in the "crysis 2" folder.

    I just got my m17x R3 last Friday and am playing Crysis 2 on all extreme settings and its very smooth 30+ FPS. I haven't benchmarked it to know exactly what FPS i'm getting, but i've not noticed any frame lag at all even in crazy battles. (using stock drivers, bios, etc.)

    I can also play Crysis 1 with max settings at 35-45 fps. I'm very pleased with the performance so far.

    Here's my system specs.
    M17x R3 Intel Core i7 2820QM, 4gb RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M, 750gb 7200 rpm hard drive, 1600 x 900 display.

    I haven't had any problems with my R2 lately.

    Using 11.3 with Cap 3, on the latest patch. Runs damn smooth

    I have a question. I'm using the Wasdie's advanced option tool. It allows you to select "multi gpu", as one of the options. Doesn't this clear up the prob with Crysis 2 not supporting sli yet, or does the option not actually work on his program?

    It does...but I have found that with 1.5 patch the game runs slow during intense fire fights with Wasdie's advanced option tool. Once uninstalled the same fire fights run smooth 55 to 60 fps with Vsync enabled and HUD flickering. :(

    27 pages back we discovered that Crysis 2 doesn't support SLI/CF. Since then this forum has been a place for troubleshootinng/maximizing gameplay.
    We all know that single gpu configs aren't affected by this lack of programming. I don't care if you are a R1/R2/R3 owner, if you have some positive suggestions or info to help our CF/SLI perform better in Crysis 2 please step forward.

    But if you have nothing but redundantly negative info please keep it to yourself. It is very frustrating trying to get our CF/SLI to perform as it should have on day one a month after launch only to read troll posts.

    Patch 1.4 fixed the problems for me (SLI User) Thanks to skygunner27

    P.S./Offtopic : Thank you NBR mods for removing my post against Geoffxx. You truly show a lot of democracy. I'm sure you guys have Lenin and Stalin's portraits in your rooms. Praise the CCCP!
