Not sure who SFredrick is, but looks like it's waiting for me.

Just got confirmation from my wife that FedEx dropped off the M17x R4 at my apartment. tag was on the door. I'll be grabbing it from the leasing office on my way home I almost feel like I stole this system from Dell

 

Nice!! Been playing mine, the best part about it in my opinion is the automatic switching between graphics.

 

You better watch out for any Dell employees that might be hiding around your house.

Then Dell has no chance . I think your M17x was one of the last ones that escaped an AAFES/DELL Massive Cancellation Blockade of 2012. It's an awesome feeling when it just barely made it through (makes it even more exciting, imo).

Actually I've been visiting with the wife all evening so I haven't even opened the box. Also did some work buffing the finish for my candy white R2 chassis . Now just gotta wax and swap the chassis. Then stretch the legs on this R4.

I will as soon as I get a chance. Right now I haven't even opened the box. Was working on painting the R2 chassis. Not sure i'f I'll be able in the next few days either. All depends on the wife. Got a bunch of housework as well lol

haha! by doing my BBB complaint i got one order re-instated....now i got to get my other order re-instated. Dell would only have one re-instated and told me to get AAFES to get the other reinstated. Maybe can i get both

 

This was great to see that they offered that kinda discount again. It only comes around about once a year. Last year, when we got the R3s, it was a 30% discount though. So $1499 became $1049. This was also around the time when they were offering the 3D bundle for $1699. Y'all remember those crazy times, right? LOL--- Remember the "Fiasco" ?

 

Haha that's where I got my system from. Still really regretting not getting the 1080p screen, but oh well.

you can buy it after market and install it yourself you know. But think of it this way....your 6990 will be able to game for like 5 years at max settings with that res

 

well they canceled my second order but honored the first one.....well it was all one order but two different configs. How long was the prices going before they changed it? 3 days? 4 days?

also claimed it was pricing error
