Today I had nothing to do so I took an old M17X R1 and tried to get various Cards to work. The only card that works is my K3000M from an Precision M6700. With integrated Grafic disabled it booted in to Win10. Driver installed by itself. No Driver mod needed. The only thing that doesn‘t work is, the card will not Boost Up. Idle is 162MHz and in any Benchmark it goes only up to 202,5MHz.
Does anyone has a Solution for that?

Mine didn't have the clock issue and did work with the RGB screen, the most recent driver installs without a hitch however I ended up with a problem later on and haven't fixed it. I suspect that other Quadro cards work as well in win10 that people haven't had any luck with in win7. The only card that I've had hell with getting to clock in the m17x r1 was a ES gtx285m.

Maybe it depends on the VBios?

Not sure if the issue you are having is the vbios as mine is a Dell version and it has full clocks, did have to roll the driver back from 425 (something) back to 376 (something) so it would be more stable but beyond that it works. I do live in a hot climate (sucks) so my temps float around between 50c up into the 70s under load but for those in nicer more humane climates would naturally get better thermals. I am thinking along the lines of a K4000m being a nicer card to run due to the thermal performance of the cooler being a limiting factor as another user here had some struggles with a gtx 680m in this machine. I do want to give second gen Kepler a try to see for myself if those would work as they are higher performing cards.
