He means Dell doesn't give away free computers. Once a replacement is sent, the other laptop is due back to the facility in a certain amount of time. Generally 30 days, and if it's not scanned in by that time, a charge for the amount of the laptop is than placed on the oweing individuals account.

480M, and NVidia already admitted publicly that it's not as powerful as the M5870, and it also has a TDP of 100W. Awful design already just from those two facts.

I wonder how many people will be rushed to the ER because they use a laptop with 480m's in sli on their lap lolM
I think it would be a good way to make sure you baby makers won't work anymore.

I wonder if the 480m in sli would be better than the 5870m xfire tho. It will be interesting to see when benches come out. Hopefully we will be able to see some soon.

I'll lose my faith in humanity if someone gets hurt from using their laptop.

Just curious, is it possible to run eyefinity panels with the two 5870s in crossfire? I know that the new HP Envy 17's selling point is that it can run a 5870 and run eyefinity off a laptop.

Would the 2 mobile 5870s be comparable to scores with a desktop 5870 in eyefinity (5040x1050)?

    Thanks guys.

I'm expecting I should have a big black alienware box at my house tomorrow after work. Inside I should find an M17x with dual 5870s inside. I still can't find any benchmarks so I'm excited to see what they can do.
