    No. They are different.
    Extended = extra space (extra screen real estate), each monitor is a seperate "monitor"
    Eyefinity = extra resolution, each monitor is a part of the whole "monitor"

    With my eyefinity my 3 screens act as one... so I have 5750x1200 resolution. Looks awesome in battlefield BC2... That being said, when you have a 6 screen display the crosshairs are on the bezel... and kind sucks :( but its still awesome.

    All I do is plug my screen in via the vga port, right click on the desktop then screen resolution, and under the multiple displays tab I usually select extend these displays. Its very useful for studying

    I'll try post some more pics when I got some spare time

    This post made me crack up, and it's not even 730am yet heheh.

    This is totally something I can make a use of, since I have a leftover tv that can take vga. It's an old flat screen tv that's really blurry if I plug in vga, but I guess I can use it for viewing a video/movie, while the regular R3 screen is playing SC2, right? Or is this not possible, and extended/eyefinity is only limited to 1 "desktop display"/1 window at a time?

    Yeh that should work, game on one screen, movie on an other. I tried it just then with ut2004, its a bit of mucking around because the movie pauses when you open the game up

    Video here shows someone using 3 Dell monitors connected to his M17X R2, using Eyefinity:

    The monitors can be both Vertical or Horizontal, nice feature. I'm picking up one for myself.

    Is this done through "Eyefinity" or "extended desktop"? I would totally be down for playing SC2 while having a movie on or the game on or something!

    I think that would be extended desktop.

    From what I understand, Eyefinity is setting up a group of monitors to display what 1 monitor could do(Each monitor is a puzzle piece or something like that) where as extended desktop will set-up the monitors as separate screens(you can maximize windows in each screen).

    Sure, Thank you Torai :). The 3d screen looks good tho I'm sorry I can't give you any comparison with a 60Hz screen, but I can say that the colors are vibrant :).

    Hmm good luck man... Brenthaven was specifically made for Apple computers originally. I know cause my company and theres both started in Bellingham and our the owners are friends :)

    ATM some of their cases have a size range... so hopefully yours will fit.

    Lunar Silver looks really great !!!! The reflection is definitely better than in "website" photo. Thanks Kalgi :) R3 users no longer have this option. :mad:

    It's not online anywhere. Walmart's search feature is stupid too. I get random search results like blowdryers, books, and blankets. It's sooo bad. I'll be going to Walmart maybe this weekend though, so I'll letcha know the price and maybe snap a photo or two. Might even buy it just to have, and then return if it doesn't fit.

    EDIT: WOOPS. Thought you were talkinga bout the Walmart backpack hehehe.

    I bought it from overstock. The height is adjustable and the large laptop side also tilts. It's working pretty well so far, I wish it were a little more sturdy, but I also tried to put it together myself (which is always a disaster in the making) so that may be a mistake on my part.
