Try doing the same process again but re-download the driver package from AMD. Could be a corrupted download. I think AMD recommend express uninstall but you could try custom uninstall and select everything and then sweep/clean before installing again.

These drivers aren't happy with my setup. Having stutters around the desktop like dragging windows around. Windows/desktop doesn't wholly refresh and leaves traces of windows around, my system has hung up severely twice now without being able to do anything but press and hold the power button to shutoff. Something is generating IRQs like mad or taking up 100% resources; it's not stalled or hung, just very busy and anything you want to do takes forever to come up. Not fun.

10.x was good for me, might have to go back instead of troubleshooting.

Kqmaveric, custom gama settings u mean from ccc settings or in game?

Mr Fox, I have set AA settings from ccc to "application controlled". Have you force enabled it?

Phifer, did u try using 10.12 drivers?

For those experiencing flickering, have you tried using the default display settings instead of adjusting gamma etc....I recall that this was causing me an issue whilst on AMD drivers at one point. Every time I ran 3dMark Vantage, I would get terrible flickering....I had followed a calibration guide using CCC to improve display but it didnt play nice.....just a thought that you may wanna test out.

Stevie and kqmaveric, u guys are right about the gama settings :) Kudos to u. I am amazed and perplexed about how a small thing like gama can affect flickering

I had followed a guide on this forum to calibrate my screen and it definitely made a difference in games and movies. But after I installed 11.3 drivers I get this problem. Previously I was using display drivers from Dell's site and gama had no impact in any games I played. Really weird and strange.
Now only if we could find a way to fool these settings to avoid that irritating flicker. Personally, I think games look much better after tweaking the gama, hue, brightness etc from CCC.

Installed fine on my r2 but when i play BC2 the sky is grey and the effects will not display properly. I had nothing but problems with 11.2 and now 11.3 i think im going to go back to 10.8 or somthing

    Hey there buddy,

Unfortunately this driver won't install for the R3 6970 unless you can make or find a modded INF for it.

    Cheers. :)

I have CCC set to "application controlled" on my system as well. I set AA in game, which allows that CCC setting to work as designed (with the application settings taking control).

Ah. Just curious. I'm on stock everything, so I'm not worried, unless there's something I may be missing out on? Please advise, thx!
