Fits very well with no overlap by the notebook over the cooler. As far as temps go, I view my cooler as a sort of buffer. At idle, it keeps my temps between 38c-46C. That's only a few degrees cooler than if I didn't use it. If I start doing something CPU intensive, then my temps hover around 60c-65C. They used to go to 70C-80C when all cores were maxed out. Bottom line, my Cooler Master U3 seems to work better at max CPU level than at idle. When the notebook work load goes up, the heatsinks require more airflow, which the cooler is already providing. The notebook fans will kick into high gear but they don't have to work as hard since the cooler fans are pushing fresh air up to them.

Thank you Radji, yea it makes sense what you are saying :)

I emailed a danish shop and asked if they had any of NZXT cryo lx in stock.

Does a laptop cooler make it more difficult to play on? I mean laptop beeing angled a bit, does it make it harder or more anoying to operate?

I like the better angle. I am used to having my keyboard at a slight incline for typing anyway. So, yes, it makes it easier in my case.

Looks like this would work decent for the M17x family...
