Well, I'm sure they don't appreciate it, LOL. When you're right, your're right. But, nobody likes to be told their baby is ugly.
Edit: just kidding... you were very diplomatic in just presenting information.

I don't see that as being out of line because all you did was presented facts. But, don't be surprised if one of them gets their feelings hurt and reports your post as trolling.

What's going on with the 560m?

Yeah, but I wasn't even over there for that you know. Just a few light words and here comes someone basing AW. *facepalm* I would never bash the Clevo. simply put, you can buy the base and throw in your parts and your golden. Wish AW had that setup going on, but I completely understand why they don't though.

Happens every time. Don't know if it's just envy or what. I get attacked on other forums sometimes just for owning the best... Crazy.

OK - back on topic. Let's see more benches, boys.

since they don't carry the 460m anymore they would have to give me at least a 560m as a replacement.

here is my 3dmark 11 score, gonna see if I can push it higher in a bit. GPUz wouldn't work at all for some reason so I just used MSI afterburner. gonna fix it for the next run though.

Looks good to me. Run Furmark and see if there is any throttling. If there is, head to the link in my sig.

BTW Nice desktop Slick, very good balance of power. If you want to see overkill, head here:

Well you need to keep an eye on the clocks display on Frumark, make sure the core stays at 620 for the whole time.

Yeah I know. My only problem is, the Asus Mars II is the same as a GTX 580 in SLi with no downclocking. They are extremely rare and expensive. And also so wide because they takes up 3 PCI slots each. 6 PCI slots can accommodate 3 GTX 590's which is 6 580(ish) GPUs vs 2x Mars = 4 580 GPUs. Plus you bag some change for watercooling or a second i7 CPU is you have a Mobo which has that.

If I become a hardware engineer for any of the tech companies, I will make a dual GPU MXM :D

I'm hoping to get some benches up soon. I'm going to see if I can get Firepro M8900s to work in crossfire. It's been confirmed that flashing an M8900 vbios will work. No I just need to wait for my internet to quite being wonky so these drivers will d/l.

Also going to be sweet if they will work in crossfire :D

Already use uncle's web ts and intel xtu.
I think I can't go further with my 2820 (which is more than enought for skyrim, sc2, bf3, crysis 2 ....).

Not sure to be compatible :(

There were reports that the 2720 q154 ES with 8meg cache is actually a 2920 in disguise...AND ITS COMPLETELY UNLOCKED.

If you can find it, it will be a cheap $200 XM processor

Heat is more do to benching..but you can run all cores at like 3.7 ghz and heat not really play a factor to much. One only needs to use the cstates and no flex and your good.
Provided it even works in our machines...And it's still a 1000 dollar chip... :)
Nope, but it is where everyone starts at. The key factor is..You can run at pretty much any speed you want with in reason of course. Versus Non extreme.
I would be a bit skeptical of that one...I seen it on ebay for a while now. (but in this case..would love to be wrong and stay wrong - :))

I got it confirmed from Shirley (one of ebay's largest mobile cpu sellers) that the 2720 q154 ES is identical to the 2920 q154 ES...multiplier is unlocked. The problem is: I can't find this CPU anymore. John, keep your eyes peeled for me

I just searched ebay...no such processor anymore. I wish i had found this out before when they were more plentiful. THere were a few 2720 6m cache versions, but not the 8m cache version
