New 3Dmark11 P9706 bench with the crippled driver 352.86 :D Works well with my AW17. Many get low benchmark scores and trottling with this driver.

3Dmark11 score's with crippled bios in Aw 17 vs last benchmark scores. Latest score is + 42.5%
higher than one of the first 3Dmark11 tests I run on my AW17.

3 x Gtx780m sli vs single gtx780m (Papusan). LoL. Know that the gtx780m sli score is low; but but :p.

Tested 3DMark Fire Strike P6508 with 352.86. Score is better with this driver than earlier driver's and higher Overclock of the graphics card.

Stock score with single GTX 680 - Vantage.

Been out of the overclocking scene. Gonna slowly get back into it :). As soon as all my AW are fixed :(

Use the guide from @Mr. Fox There is no major difference in procedure. Slightly different settings and less choice. http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...ly-have-it-run-full-stock-turbo-speed.734696/
Or take a look at the Xtu settings/profiles for i7-4900/10Mq in the different Xtu test results in Hwboot. http://hwbot.org/benchmark/xtu/rankings?hardwareTypeId=processor_2882&cores=4#start=0#interval=20

Hey guys. Sorry for the slightly off topic post but do you reckon OC is worth it for gaming? I mean after an hour or so of playing around with my 980m and getting some very very decent results on 3dmarks and Unigine HAven/Valley, I did some benching in Arkham Knight and Witcher 3 using Fraps and found the differences with stock to be negligible (I am using Prema's vbios by the way).
So I just went back to stock to avoid any surprises later on...

Overclocked the old 7970m to 980/1560 (stock 850-1200) without overvolting it and replaced the cpu for a slighly quicker one (3720QM) and got a pretty nice score for the old beast:

    7970m.png

Could go higher with overvolting it but it runs pretty fine as it is (max temp around 70 degrees)

    Hi...

I need your help. First the two 3DMark Screenshots, which I understand:

    3DMark06:

    Thumbnail-link to bigger version:

    3DMarkVantage:

I understand those benchmarks so far, that they're consistent, but what really surprises me, is, that they're enough for a place in the top5 according to the 1st post. As these are screens from an unmodded non-overclocked standard M17xR4, I assume, that there is some error. (Explanation would be nice. )

What I completely don't understand though, is this score from PCMark7:

Maybe you'll excuse, that HWiNFO runs in the background instead of GPU-Z and CPU-Z, but my question is, how is this possible? I repeated the test 5 further times and 3DMark7 runs 3 times each trial, which makes 15 tests, and in all of those tests, I was only able to reach 41xx points, which is 1000 points lower than the score I achieved in the 1st trial, which is linked above! From my understanding and from what Futuremark writes, PCMark7 has variating results of about 3%, but that's over 20%!!! I'd really like to repeat the 5.1k result, but I don't know how. The only thing, really, the only thing I did from the 1st trial towards the other ones, was, that I restricted the system to the dedicated graphics card via FN + F7, but I even used system-restore after not finding any way to repeat this result, from a time directly before installing PCMark7, and I still wasn't able to get the 5.1k points again  .
Some explanation towards this would be really really nice. I'm also gonna ask on TI and in the Futuremark forums, if nobody here can explain this, and / or once the Futuremark forums are back online.
(Addition: Also, I think the 5.1k score must be the valid one, as iirc the M17xR4 test-system from NBC already got 4100 points, and my SSD is more than twice as fast as the one of that system, I got newer GFX-drivers, so I'd really like to know, how I can "lose" 1000 points through nothing. :( )

    Thank you.

I did the same today with a very similar notebook. Overclocked 'til 920/1620 and then benched with 3DMark11 and PCMark7. Unfortunately, my values are even lower since the last time when still non-overclocked, so I assume, that the ATI 15.7 driver is a lot faster than the 15.11.1 .

    Here are the benchmarks:

Not sure what thread I should be asking this in but this looks like the place. I have an Alienware 17 r3 with i7-6700HQ. For some reason my pcmark score is only 2700-2800 no matter what I do. Can someone please take a stock benchmark and screenshot the detailed results to see why my score is so low?
