Ok so game runs at 40 -70 FPS at full settings, specs in sig @ Stock clocks. Using 11.9 Modded drivers, but going to install 11.10 Preview due to mad flickering.

However when under 60 FPS the game stutters a bit weirdly...

Crap I think I pre-ordered too late and that is why I am not getting a "product code"??? It looks like I got some extra "fluff" and no Beta access. I thought this was an open beta for anyone with the game. Ugh. I am miffed as that is the only reason I pre-ordered :(

Just tired to run the game on ultra settings, like everyone else, and I got 17fps with massive screen tearing. I am not pleased at all, especially since I am using 11.10 drivers.

you probably did not install the drivers correctly, since those drivers are optimized for BF3. id say uninstall all of your video drivers and re-install them.

awesome, thanks for the info. im sure that when you will install the 11.10, the stuttering will go away. Just make sure you uninstal your old drivers properly and then install the new ones :)

    BTW +rep

for 6990m make sure you get the 11.10 drivers, do not instal any CAPS with them. then disable crossfire. the game runs smoother with crossfire disabled as of now. if the fps dips below 60 there is massive stuttering, especially in caspian map.

you can still max out the game with one 6990m at 30 fps average!

Ok, I am pretty honest in my posts on these forums. I have 6970s with the 11.10 previews and the game is playing at the exact same framerates as the ones posted online. I use fraps and the lowest FPS I get is outside with heavy smoke and its mid 40s. The game runs flawlessly on ULTRA everything enabled (custom). Some games the 6970s keep up with really well and this appears to be one of them; to my surprise as I can't hang on Crysis 2. This is at STOCK GPU settings. The only thing tweaked is my 2720 but that wouldn't account for the game running 40-90. I expected to dip into the 30s with these cards. So far so good.

Am I the ONLY one who thinks the graphics are "meh."?? I know single player will look MUCH better AND run better. However, I thought MP would look a tad more immersive...

Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon. I jumped into a different server with more people and the FPS dip dip into the 30s outside in heavy action. Still playable..but the screen flickering is unbearable. Won't be playing this beta too much. Single card solutions will struggle at max.

simply un-install the existing drivers and CAP profiles. if that does not work then un-install them manually from the device manager. then install the new ones.

Temps after 40 min of BF3)) 0.85v bios! FPS with everything totally maxed out: 45-70, i'd suggest the average of 55-60, which is accepatble. With the final game release and proper WHQL NVIDIA drivers i expect not less than 60fps on avg! The game is great, BTW!

Getting some strange screen tearing while running this game. (Crossfire 6990m - AMD 11.10)
Averaging at about 40fps on Ultra settings.

Is the screen tearing normal for everyone else with 6990ms?

^^ I am also experiencing screen tearing and also micro-stuttering.

On another note - OC'd at 805/1005 netted me on average +6 fps min. So if I'm getting 35fps I'll be getting 41. Not too bad. Temps went up by 5C to 75C.

I disabled crossfire and the issue went away but unfortunately I get average below 30fps.
Thanks for the suggestion though. I may just deal with the "horizontal lines" in crossfire.

You should install origin first and let it do all the installation and other handles, worked fine for me that way.

Plus you need a "Game manager" plugin on the firefoxy (which it would do for you and prompt you for that process), this does the actual match making and game calls from the browser.
