    Just have to finish my shift tonight, drive 3 hours home. Then get it from FedEx tomorrow, then drive back here to my temp housing. Can't wait.

    Mine arrived today and it seems they screwed up with it, processor not OC as it should, and system seems to have been rushed out without testing, some stuff don't work such as camera and other stuff missing.. Sending it back, ordered another one..

    If you don't have any other major issues, it might be something you can live with. Think about it though because it may haunt you for years.

    Within the return period and before I install any aftermarket parts, I will run mine through the paces. I can't even get the SSD I want yet so if I need to return, it will be a bit easier having not torn the machine apart. I will then be able to get some baselines before installing the HyperX 1866 and the Vertex 3 Max IOPS SSD.

    Perfection can't really be expected but you need to be pleased or return it.

    Yeah, pretty much.

    I installed a SSD and the 4 RAM sticks last night so there is a very good chance I'm gonna hold on to this thing. The ding is pretty tiny.

    I feel your pain. I also had three cancels (two were dell's fault re-ordering the laptop with the same specs after a warranty change) and it's been in the build stage since 5/11. My hope for getting it before the weekend is rapidly slipping.

    Called em again, I honestly think the rep is def. I'm trying to speak to him but he keeps speaking over me, telling me I already know. I hate reps sometimes. But yea, mine is still in building stage, and its really pissing me off.

    My M18x is Lost in Space in shipping La La Land.

    I received an email stating that shipping was initiated along with a tracking number on the 19th. FedEx claims that they have only received a request from Dell, but they have not picked it up yet.

    I tried to reach my rep, but was sent to EPP concierge. They said it shipped on the 19th, but FedEx says no it didn't. Now concierge says it must be stuck in customs and that the shipping should update in a couple of days. :rolleyes:

    The only upside is that if mine is defective, I will know what is released in June.

    My new goal is to hope my M18X SHIPS 30 days after I ordered it... so.. June 5th. I was originally supposed to have it on June 2nd.

    My EDD just ticked over to 14th of June and I placed my order 12 days ago... seems something (the nebular red bodies?) is in short supply and they're not expecting resolution until the 30th of May.

    My rep is going to see if there's any thing he can do as a gesture of goodwill. All I really want is an M18X Orion back pack, 'cos for some silly reason you can't get them in Australasia.

    ok so I'm on the edge of my seat like everyone else that hasn't gotten theirs yet. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I went online to configure the same as the one im getting on dell's site just to see when it would be estimated for delivery. I ordered mine 5/13 and its EDD is 6/7 ): I just cnfigured one at 12:30am est 5/25 and it's EDD is 6/7.........................!!!!!?!?!?

    Mine was "sent to carrier" two days ago, however, still no tracking number. I can the 800 number and says it was shipped on the 27th.... today is the 25th??
