Since I have the ES version (2.4GHz), I am unable to achieve 45x even after setting flex vid override at 25 due to the intial voltage difference between this chip and the regular one.

how can I raise the Flex VID Override past 25 or be able to overclock higher on this ES chip?

You need to raise the primary plane to like 1050 or so.

To be fair, even with my pri that high, I could never get a stable 45x on my es... at least to run 3d vant or 3d mark 11 ...

And I played with hundreds of variations of flex and base clock ... would always crap out at some point.

Also ... CPU is in the house, installing now ... back here in a short while.

You need to be below a certain temp to even think about running higher than 4500 mhz.

My es chip at 4500 mhz

JOhn ... how can I tell that my CPU is XM not QS !!!

When I first booted to Bios it read it as a QS ... I will not be FRICKEN happy if its a QS ... the tag on the hardware was SRO2E or something ... I thought that was the xm ...

Actually same here .... its messed up.my gpus though some how .... running 880 1190 and only getting 28k gpu score .... might be the bclk ... think about reinstalling the drivers .... when it booted it recognized them as 6970s .... But gpuz reads them with 1120 shaders .... thus 6990s ... but they arent running right

Yea but i cant see ant diff other than fan cpu temp mgmt. which makes no diff with speed fan .... with 45x 1000 bclk and 8 flex i seem to be solid ... still only hittin 30100 vantage @880 1190 ... think i need some flex or more multi .... but considering this took a couple months to hit with my ES ..... this is a nice place to start with oem

well ... crap ... just hit 31K cpu !!! but .. hit 25K GPU @ 885 1195 ... which should have busted the lid off this mother ...

    LOL ...

So I don't know where I am at .... but tonight, just playing around I have seen a alot of potential ... I am guessing I should be able to break 31K overal vant ... maybe I could compete and look toward 32K, maybe 33k .... but only if I can get my gpu and cpu together ... there is a lot of potential .... and a lot of 'if' .... keep you all posted (but mostly my brothers, Jk, RV, Aiki, Scook, joker, and some of you new comers .... in particular) ....its coming down !!!

Brother Shay, do not use any extra fan any thing software..Just run it as is...

As to the gpu test... You need to be watching these test. Once it flakes out...no need to let it finish... :)
