Hehe I think your ES was giving my OEM a run for its money. You had that thing squealing calling its momma. =D

Depot better not touch my chip lol I'll have to bust-a cap hahaha always wanted to say that :D I finally just shipped it out the day before yesterday.

I quote the ES "no... God no... Please not that John... Ahhhh. NO not the Vantage not again... Silence... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that burns is so f-Ing hot yet my head is f-Ing frozen for some reason is that?...more silence... Quiet breathing (a thought in its head... Is it over)... A scream of panic... Your going to do it again? Y.y.your going to raise my BSCLK .1? More screaming... No not the cold head again John I can't take this hot cold thing we got going on I feel like I'm in hell and Antartica fell on top of me. Not much more was heard from ES but I can say this to this day you can hear the most faint scream coming from Brother Shadens PC. ;-)

Nice wprime John when I get mine back I plan to play with less tight of ram timings as I think that and other factors held me back some when I was benching I was just starting to learn timings. Nice score Mr.Fox that's another great one from team green. ;-) Shaden nice cards 875 core rocks.

Thanks, brother reborn! Appreciate the accolades, man... thanks to Shaden and residualvoltage, too. Brother John gave me several pointers that were very helpful in pushing things a little further. I think I might be close to running out of firehose at this point, but we'll see.

At the very least, I'll have a good starting point for a personal benchmark when I acquire the XM CPU that will replace the 2760QM. I'm seeing it hit it max on turbo multipliers more consistently than I ever have before and the temps are starting to reflect that. Not too hot, but a lot warmer than it ever was before. Maybe I'll have to see if scook's chest-freezer trick will help the humble QM run a little bit faster. ;)

Great to hear it great job Mr. Fox. Shaden nice 3dmark11... Way to push that CPu and you I'm curious to know what you had it running at or even your physics subscore would suffice. I would go by CPUz ;-) but that don't tell you all. Nice job.

Wow that's very well, Kudos brother Shaden. My CPU subscores were very similar 10700~ was nearing the max I had got when benching last but that was almost 2 months ago so hadn't maxed the length of my firehose as Mr. Fox says. Way to push things seems to me an estimate would be you ran 4.5ghz - 4.633 perhaps somewhere there in... what's your max when tessellation is under defaults? if you haven't had a recent run yet that's okay.
Brother John or anyone knowledged on ac coolant tech will an AC window unit still function without venting the hot air out of the house but basically in the same room?

Aye poor here too I am paying my system via Dell DPA. Do you have an original CPU? If so sell that ES and save got any other original parts sell them and add that. You know sticking to that ES can be good still, it is the fastest known 2920xm ES chips recorded to date.

Now, start your engines and prepare to overtune your overclocking adventures...
people in NY on Tuesday you will enjoy 19° F. (-7° C.)
in Chicago they will reach on Monday 18° F. (-8° C.)...
Even in the good old warm Atlanta (sweet Georgia) they will have enough to overoverclock your machines: 21° F (-6° C.)
    It's not Alaska but anyway...

    Happy New Year 2 all!

Thanks for the compliment, rv. Pretty basic settings, but working well. See attached.

You, John or Shaden have any idea what the MSR Lock is for? Should I leave it disabled? Haven't experimented with that yet. Also haven't taken time to Google it yet.

Happy New Year to everyone! May 2012 be a year filled with great things for you and your loved ones. :)

You want to leave MSR lock disabled its the lock that prevents changing watts in windows which is default to enabled so you have already set it properly. In windows throttle stop and Intel extreme tuning utility can adjust watt limits while that MSR lock is disabled cheers brother Fox.

Yes, it unlocks the watts. You see it greyed out when it's set to disabled. In your pic where it says....enable limit. When you flip that switch, it ungreys that stuff out.

i had a 8560w with Quadro2000m, the result is not that great Mr.fox ! my friend had quadro3000m and its only scored 6.9 in WEI.

but if you asked for Specviewperf which is optimized for openGL and workstation type of machine. it can out perform any SLI gtx 580m :p
