The HDMI mux PS8271 that Dell uses is only rated for HDMI spec 1.3a, which is only good for 2.5K. Maybe it can still do 4K but that's way beyond the mux rating. The mDP mux MAX14998 is rated for displayport 1.2 which does cover 4K.

    Muxes from the motherboard schematic:

    U57 is HDMI
    U43 is LVDS
    U129 is mDP
    U132 is DMC

For mixed GPU output to work the Bios will need to be set to SG, or else the iGPU can't work (I don't think it will even get power). You'll then want to mod the muxes for anything that's not VGA and LVDS to be on the dGPU. Mux pins need to be lifted and grounded to set routing to the dGPU. If you don't lift the pin first you'll ground out the line and set everything to dGPU, and possibly blow out the drivers for these lines on the PCH.

For the mDP mux you'll need to lift pins 16 and 17 and ground them, and that should get mDP to be hard set to the dGPU. The HDMI mux would need pins 21 and 22 lifted and grounded. For the DMC mux (idk what DMC is) lift and ground pins 47 and 48.

DMC is where the Intel 60HZ wifi card went, for wireless displays. In essence, a Mini PCI slot with a spare row of pins, people have gotten it working with wifi cards and the like.

No....DMC slot is just a glorified mini pci-E slot that housed the sibeam wireless HD chip.

No SATA bus connected to it, often used just for mini pci-e to USB conversion for internal dongles or extra storage.

It is not for “intel WiFi 60hz”, not widi, completely different frequency being used, not made by intel at all
