    Dears,

I am having a serious issue with my system and I am unable to solve it. My system shuts down after some time (intervals are not specific).

Following is trouble shooting that I have done

    1. First I thought it was something to do with heating, but CPU Temp is always 67 ~ 69 C, core GPU 78C and secondary GPU 72C
    2. It has happened when I was playing games, listening music or watching movies etc

    Please help.
    Thanks

So apparently I resolved it to temperature issues ..

This is taken just after 2 mins play of MAFIA II on max settings. (Max temperatures). :(

Can anyone suggest some better options to reduce the heat generated. I have searched the forum for resetting the heat sink, applying paste etc but my expertise levels are not that high.

    Some feasible solution please.

    Thanks

The temps dont seem too high that you said. Did you try using a cooling pad? like the NZXT one? It might help the temps get alittle lower.

Hmm, honestly I was under the impression that system will shutdown automatically whenever its temp gets 100C +.

My system is shutting down very often and things are getting pretty annoying for me ...

I will try to find the cooler in the market, lets hope it helps.

    Thanks

Also, can anyone suggest any monitoring software that saves runtime temperature values for future reference. CPUID does not save the values and hence I am unaware of the max temperature before restart.

    Thanks

    A couple of questions,

    1. What is the difference between THRM temperature and Core Temps as shown by CPUID.

    2. I am unable to understand one thing, when the system is idle temperatures are excellent (Max is around 60C for GPU), but when I do something temperatures shoot up, even when I play farmville on Facebook too much temperature rise and eventually system shuts down. Problem is that CPUID does not save runtime temps so I am unable to know what is the shutdown temperature

Bought the cooler yesterday, no use .. :(

I think I have to open the system and clean the heat sink, I have found the how to in knowledge base and my expertise are not that high .....
