Have you installed all the drivers and software from Dell's website?

I used to get this back way when, I think you need to be mindful when installing your drivers in proper order, and restarts inbetween as needed. Most importantly chipset, IME, realteck stuff and NICs then OSD, AWCC etc..

This happened to me with my 17r3. I had to install the drivers for the track pad. Then all was well.

You are a genius pal, it worked. I installed driver in that order:

    Chipset driver
    On-Screen Display Manager Application ([Fn] + [F7])
    NVIDIA graphics driver
    Network adapter driver
    Wireless network adapter driver
    Audio driver
    Bluetooth driver
    Remote control receiver driver
    Touchpad driver
    Media card reader driver
    RAID utility
    Turbo Memory driver
    Camera utility ([Fn]+[F9])
    Lighted keyboard driver
    Command Center application

As soon as I installed command center keyboard light up. Thank you for you help
