    I have a Alienware Area-51 m15x (not the M15x).

I am looking for Blu-ray drive that can be used as a replacement for the standard DVD drive that comes with it

Any links or information is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

It's plug and play almost....you need to remove your stock drive from the plastic caddy and replace it with the Panasonic drive. After that it work just like your original drive but you may need to invest in PowerDvD program for Blu-ray playback.

I have also read that the free & open source Media Player Classic will support Blu-Ray. Not sure if you would need the community codec pack to go with it.
