I recently purchased a replacement battery for my Alienware M5500 laptop. I calibrated it and set to high performance in the battery power options. It performs slow and sluggish. When I plug in the power adapter it will run normal and fast as it was made to do. But when I unplug the power and run on battery power, it continues to run slow. The old battery I replaced only had maybe 5 minutes life, however the computer ran fine and just as fast as if it were plugged in. This is the second new battery I have purchased with the same issue. Any ideas? Thanks.
