    Hi fellow Ware-Heads,

Does anyone know if the Alienware m9750 (with 2 * nVidia 8700GTs in SLi) can be updated to Windows 10?

Has anyone tried it? Successes, failures, watchouts?

I have my old unit I am prepping for sale, and it looks a little out of date running Windows 7 Home Premium.

If not Windows 10, should I bother moving to Windows 8? Can I even do that?

    Thanks in advance,

    Clean.

You could always throw a spare HD in there and try it. Do you have a Windows 8 key to try? From your post it sounds like you are going to try the Windows 10 install with your 7 key. The mainstream free upgrade program has ended but there are still workarounds where you can get 10 on there with the 7 key.

What condition is the m9750 in?

leave windows 7 on there, it works better than 8 or 10.
