Well almost the 4 yr aniversary for my m9750 laptop from Alienware and other than one HDD issue it's still running strong and playing games great. Warrenty is out so I OC the CPU from 2.16 to 2.33 and is VERY stable. I do use a cooling pad for it though. Happy gaming all.

Can I ask what cooling pad you use . I have a m9750 3years old which is currently being repaired (new graphics cards :( ). I dont want to make the same mistake by not using a cooling pad.
    thanks!

I'm running one as well. She's been going strong for 4 years straight although, started noticing little bits of wear and tear- two dead pixels small, but i notice that sort of thing. DVD drive kicked on me, replacing that. The battery will not last more than 10 minutes off the cord, A/C input is a little worn. So far all i have had to replace is my RAM. I'm wondering what the max RAM storage for it's CPU T5500 32-bit OS is. I've done research all over but cant get a straight answer for that specific question... I've tried upgrading the RAM with two different RAM sticks (currently a hyperx 2g and the stock 512 that came with it) recently with one from a toshiba laptop (1g) but the power button blinked orange and then shut off immediately when i tried to turn it on. so... im not entirely sure what the problem is there. maybe different voltage recquirements, but i figure that would not matter...

@hoppy...cooling pad..ahh well I normally just set it on the table and put a book or something on back end to prop up...seems to do the trick. Course I have noticed how quickly it goes...oh well as long as it still works
