    Hi!
I have an AW area51 M15x laptop and it's keyboard has no lights(I choose that option when ordered). But now I want to get it back with lighting effect. When I opened the laptop and I saw there is a cable that support led board for keyboard. I removed my old keyboard (non- illuminated) and put a new one in this cable, but there is still no lights.
    What can I do now?
    Help me !!!!!!

A silly question i know but i had to ask..

So I read as long as its plugged in it should work, is the keyboard new?

There are quite alot of posts here regarding peps wanting to replace the non illuminated keyboard for an illuminated one.

Try uninstalling current command centre and use this one as the newer CC isnt compatable with area 51 models Alienware : The Best Custom Built Gaming PC for the Ultimate PC Gamer!

I did the same thing to my Area 51 M17x. You have to go to your hive and follow the directions and order of what drivers to install when. Worst comes to worst call tech support, tell them you have a factory installed FX keyboard and they will walk you through it.
